Aptela’s Speed Dial feature provides a click-to-call capability from the web portal and one-click dialing from an auto-provisioned Polycom or Aastra 6757i CT phone. Cisco phones that support speed dialing provide a multi-click experience.
Create Speed Dial List
- Log into your user account at my.aptela.com.

Click on the Phonebook tab in the main navigation.*
- Click on the Speed Dial tab.
- Click on the first row in the table (marked with the number "1") and then click Edit Selected. You can enter up to 10 phone numbers.
NOTE: for Cisco phone users, leave the first entry blank. Cisco does not support "1" as a speed dial entry. - Reboot your phone by unplugging it for 5 seconds then plugging it back in.
Make Calls from the Speed Dial List
Polycom Users
Access your Speed Dial list by pushing the "Up" arrow on your Polycom phone or using the Directory list. The speed dial entries appear before the directory list.
- Press Menu.
- Select Features.
- Select Contact Directory.
- Press the "up" arrow key.
- Select the speed dial option to call, and then press the Dial button.
Cisco Users
- Press the Menu button.
- Select the option for Speed Dials. For 50x models, select option 2. For 525 models, select option 3.
- Select the speed dial option to call, and then press the dial button.
Aastra 6757i CT Users
Your speed dial entries will appear on your soft line keys. Press the softkey for the entry you wish to call.
