Presence is a feature that displays the real-time status or “presence” of all user extensions within your account. Aptela displays if a user is on the phone or off the phone, allowing you to determine if the user is busy before dialing the extension.
The User Dashboard displays the real-time status of all users within your business:
- The blue phone icon means that the user is on a call; gray means the user off the phone
- With the mouse, hover over the blue icon to view the caller ID
- Account administrators can enable and disable this feature for individual user extensions through the Administrator Portal
View user presence in two places within the applicaiton:
- Within the User Dashboard, click on Company Phonebook found in the middle column of the page
