Call Recording allows each user to record inbound and outbound calls on a per-call basis. Recording is a premium feature with a monthly charge per user who has the feature activated. The Account Administrator must enable this feature for users.
How to Record a Call
Start and stop the recording either from the phone or User Dashboard. Aptela will record any call made and/or received through the service.Record from the Phone
- Press ** to access the mobile menu
- Press 7 to start or stop call recording
- Log in to Aptela
- While participating on a call, you will see the call appear in the Active Calls section of the User Dashboard (top left of the page)
- Click on the "Record Call" icon to start or stop call recording (a red dot in the center of a square)
How to Retreive Recorded Call from History
- Log into Aptela
- Click on History tab in the main navigation
- Click on Recordings tab to see all recorded calls
- Click on a call and the call details will appear in the right column
- Use the Recordings box in this section to listen, download or delete the recording
