Call Recording

Call Recording allows each user to record inbound and outbound calls on a per-call basis. Recording is a premium feature with a monthly charge per user who has the feature activated.  The Account Administrator must enable this feature for users.

How to Record a Call

Start and stop the recording either from the phone or User Dashboard.  Aptela will record any call made and/or received through the service.

Record from the Phone
  1. Press ** to access the mobile menu
  2. Press 7 to start or stop call recording
Record from the User Dashboard
  1. Log in to Aptela
  2. While participating on a call, you will see the call appear in the Active Calls section of the User Dashboard (top left of the page)
  3. Click on the "Record Call" icon to start or stop call recording (a red dot in the center of a square)

How to Retreive Recorded Call from History

  1. Log into Aptela
  2. Click on History tab in the main navigation
  3. Click on Recordings tab to see all recorded calls
  4. Click on a call and the call details will appear in the right column
  5. Use the Recordings box in this section to listen, download or delete the recording
