Initiate calls with a simple click of the mouse from your Outlook directory.

Outlook 2003 Plug-in

1. Close Outlook
2. Select the plug-in for your Outlook version above and download
3. Your web browser will prompt you to save the installer to your hard drive
4. Save the file and make a note of the location you saved it to. Once the download is completed, navigate to the location where you saved it and double click to launch the installer
5. If prompted, click “Run” when presented with a security warning
6. Once the installation is complete, click “Close”
7. Open Outlook

Using the Outlook Plug-in

The plugin installs two new buttons into the Outlook toolbar to “Click to Connect”.

1. Go to the Contacts section of Outlook and select a contact. Use the “Click to Connect” button in the toolbar or right click and choose the option “Click to Connect.”
2. If there are multiple numbers available for the contact, you will be prompted to choose a number.
3. Click to Connect will dial your Aptela number first (utilizing your Find Me List). When you accept the call, it will connect you to your party.

Settings

1. If you need to change your username or client name associated with the plugin, follow these steps:
2. From the Outlook main menu, click “Tools” and then “Options”
3. Choose the “Aptela” tab
4. Update your Group Name (Client ID) and/or your User Name
5. Click “OK” to save changes

Uninstall

1. Go to your start menu and then “Control Panel”
2. Select “Add or Remove Programs”
3. A screen will appear listing all of your programs. Select the “Aptela Outlook Plugin” from the list and click on “Remove”
