Initiate calls with a simple click of the mouse from your Outlook directory.

Plug-in Versions

- Close Outlook
- Select the plug-in for your Outlook version above and download
- Your web browser will prompt you to save the installer to your hard drive
- Save the file and make a note of the location you saved it to. Once the download is completed, navigate to the location where you saved it and double click to launch the installer
- If prompted, click “Run” when presented with a security warning
- Once the installation is complete, click “Close”
- Open Outlook
Using the Outlook Plug-in
The plugin installs two new buttons into the Outlook toolbar to “Click to Connect”.
- Go to the Contacts section of Outlook and select a contact. Use the “Click to Connect” button in the toolbar or right click and choose the option “Click to Connect.”
- If there are multiple numbers available for the contact, you will be prompted to choose a number.
- Click to Connect will dial your Aptela number first (utilizing your Find Me List). When you accept the call, it will connect you to your party.
Settings
- If you need to change your username or client name associated with the plugin, follow these steps:
- From the Outlook main menu, click “Tools” and then “Options”
- Choose the “Aptela” tab
- Update your Group Name (Client ID) and/or your User Name
- Click “OK” to save changes
Uninstall
- Go to your start menu and then “Control Panel”
- Select “Add or Remove Programs”
- A screen will appear listing all of your programs. Select the “Aptela Outlook Plugin” from the list and click on “Remove”
