Polycom Manual Configuration Guide (Non-Aptela Purchased & Pre-Owned)

Any Polycom SoundPoint IP phone not purchased through Aptela was not pre-configured to work with Aptela. These phones will need to be manually configured to use Aptela phone service. Click the link below to review configuration instructions.

NOTE: The account administrator will need to provide FTP information to users who may setup the phone themselves.


Polycom Firmware Requirements

Polycom phones must meet a designated firmware requirement to work on Aptela v5.  Refer to the below table for firmware requirements specific to your Polycom IP phone model. 

To verify your Polycom firmware, press the phone’s Menu button > choose Status > choose Platform > choose Application > choose Main.  As long as your phone is on idle screen, you can view the firmware.
