BEFORE installing a new Cisco phone, first register the phone's MAC ID with Aptela.
To do this:

1. Locate the phone's MAC ID. The MAC ID is located on the back on the phone on a label with the Cisco logo and model number
2. Log into Aptela at my.aptela.com.
   
   • Users: Click My Account at the top of the page, then click the My Phones tab
   • Admins: Click on the user you would like to assign the phone to, and then click the Edit Phones button
3. Click Add a Phone
4. Type in the MAC ID in the MAC Address field
5. For Phone Type, select Cisco
6. Click Add Phone

Usage Tips/Notes:

• Speed Dial Users: On SPA 303 and SPA 504, only the phone number of your Aptela Speed Dial list will display, not the name.  On the SPA 525G2 phone, the name field is available but it doesn't get populated You have to manually edit it.
