The Aptela application logs all incoming and outgoing calls for each user. To access your call history:
- Login to Aptela as a user
- Click on the History tab in the top navigation
The Call Log tab displays all calls sent and received during the past 30 days. To see calls for a different time period, use Date Range. The Voicemail, Recordings and Faxes tabs sort out the respective call types for quick access.
Searching for Call Records
- In the Call Log tab, use the drop-down menu called Call Type to display only the calls that meet the criteria: All Calls, Inbound, Outbound or Missed Calls.
- Click on a column header Call, Phone, Date/Time or Length to sort calls by that category.
- Enter a phone number or name in the Search box to display calls for that search term.
Display Options
- By default, the display presents the last 30 days of calls although you can access up to six months of call detail.
- Use the Date Range drop-down menu to view call records for a different time frame. Use "custom" to select the desired date range to display. For your convenience, we present the preceding three months for quick access to those records.
Data Storage
- Aptela stores call records for up to six months.
- Aptela stores media files for up to 90 days. Media files include voicemails, call recordings and faxes sent and received. The call record will remain for these activities but the media file will be removed.
- If you need call history for more than six months ago, your account administrator can request a "Call Detail Record" (CDR). Click here to learn more.
