My fax notification arrived with no attachment

If a fax arrives with no attached file verify the following settings in the Aptela web account to which your virtual fax number is assigned:
  • Make sure the box for Include content in notification is checked in your fax notifications setting.
  • Make sure the Maximum attachment size does not exceed the amount your email provider will allow.  This setting is located to the right of your notifications.  To confirm the maximum attachment size allowed, contact your email provider.

If the above settings are correct, make sure you do not have any filters or blocks on incoming attachments, or that your email provider does not automatically quarantine all incoming attachments to check for viruses.
