What is my phone number? What is my fax number?

The Aptela web portal displays phone numbers and their assigned extension to all users. If you need to change the current assignment of a number, the account administrator can do this from the administrator portal: click here for instructions.

To view the phone numbers assigned to you, log into your web account: my.aptela.com
  • Admins: Click on the Phone Numbers within the main navigation and then click the Routing tab.  
  • Users: Click on the Phonebook in the main navigation at the top of the page then click the Phone Numbers tab.
NOTE: the list does not display Vanity Toll Free Numbers.  If you have a vanity TFN and need to know which local number it routes to, your account admin can submit an account change request and Aptela will provide you with that information.

What is the "Default Caller ID"?  This is the main account phone number which Aptela will display on your outbound calls by default.  This setting is established by your account administrator. Depending on your account's preferences, your outbound caller ID may not display your company's name or phone number  (e.g., Acme Company).  If your extension is setup to show a different phone number on outbound calls, that number will override the default caller ID number and/or name.
