Authorized Admin Email Address & Security Question

To protect accounts from improper disclosure of proprietary account information or execution of account changes, Aptela will verify that the requestor is an authority for your account.  Verification is done asking that the requestor state the answer to the account’s security question. In addition, notification of account changes and dissemination of proprietary account information will be sent to the administrator email on file.

Account Security Question

Aptela support and billing representatives will use the security answer to verify that the requestor has the authority to make account changes and/or discuss account information.

To change/update the security question for your account:

  1. Log in to the admin portal
  2. Click the My Account tab in the top navigation
  3. Click on the General Settings tab
  4. Click the button to “change” your account’s Security Question

Administrator Email

The administrator email for your account is managed by the account. This email is often used for verification and will receive updated passwords, account change notifications and sensitive account information. To ensure the safety of your company’s information and service, please update this information regularly.

To verify or update your account administrator email:

  1. Log in to the admin portal
  2. Click the My Account tab in the top navigation
  3. Click on the General Settings tab
  4. The Administrator Email is listed in this section and can be edited
