The Aptela User Dashboard is broken into 4 main sections:

1. Active Calls Room
2. Find Me List
3. Company Phonebook
4. New Alerts

Active Calls Room
This area displays a real-time view of active phone calls.  You can:

• Place call on hold:  put call on hold, take off hold.
• Transfer call:  to another extension, to voicemail.
• Flip call:  seamless move a call from your phone to another entry in your Find Me List.
• Record call:  if enabled.
• Edit Notes:  takes notes about the call that you may access from the History tab.

Find Me List
Re-order your Find Me List instantly. Just click an entry and drag up and down the list. Click on the green phone icon to change entries from active (green icon) to inactive (gray icon) and back.  Click "edit" to open the Find Me List editor to add and remove entries and change settings.

Phonebook Directory
The Phonebook Directory has several sub-sections:  Speed Dial, Company Phonebook, Contacts, Dialpad & Send Fax.  Click on the sub-section name to expand.

The purpose of the directory is to quickly find contacts and their extension or number and then click-to-call them.  You can also send faxes or dial any outside phone number.

New Alerts
The New Alerts area displays missed activity since the last time you logged in.  Missed activity includes:  missed calls, new voicemail and new faxes. You can listen to voicemail or view faxes by double clicking on the record.  You can also return the call by clicking on the phone number.
