How Users Customize On Hold Music/Messages

To play a custom message or music while callers are on hold for a User:

  1. Login to www.aptela.com/my-account
  2. Click on the My Account tab
  3. Click on the Call Preferences tab
  4. Under the Audio Preferences section, look for Custom Hold Music
  5. Select the Change button
Recording options include:
  1. Record with desk phone. Your desk phone will ring with instructions on recording a message. Press # to end your recording. Press 1 to save and apply the recording.
  2. Upload a file. Search your desktop for an existing audio file.
  3. Pick from Media Library. Choose from a library of music or ring audio provided by Aptela. You may also select from audio files that you stored to the Media Library previously.
  4. Reset to default. Restores the audio to the Aptela default.
