About Multi-Line Configuration
Configuring a phone for multiple extensions will replace one or more lines from the current setup with line(s) for another user or phone only extension. This allows employees to take calls for another extension directly from a designated line on the phone. For example, one of the Executive Assistant's phone lines is programmed with the CEO's extension to personally screen calls. Depending on the number of lines available on the phone, you may choose to replace more than one line.
